A c1900 Arts & Crafts movement armchair featuring a woven rush ‘enveloped’ seat and distinctive vertical wavy back slats designed by William Morris & Co. for Liberty & Co.
The woven seat is in good condition and the wood frame is solid. There is some characterful patina from age and use throughout.
Traditionally intended to be a fireside chair with a low seat and high back.
